"I didn't build a studio to sell paintings. I built an uprising."
Mads Suquet is a Venezuelan-American, Emmy-winning filmmaker and contemporary pop artist and the founder of MADHAUS. Working in acrylic, Posca marker, and spray paint, she reimagines the icons we're told to worship — interrogating legacy, commodification, and who controls reverence. Her work is an act of defiance: taking power back, and daring others to do the same. Her pieces have shown at galleries across the East Coast and are held in private collections in the U.S. and internationally."
Parsons/The New School BS in Film Production
Featured and solo exhibitions across galleries in Pennsylvania, including Ozone Art Gallery, The Oaklander Hotel, and Slanted & Enchanted, 2024–2026
