Magdalena Zarychta

I am a Polish artist working across three main media: artistic glass, ceramics, and painting. My practice explores the relationship between matter and emotion, and the traces of experience embedded in form. Although each medium has its own language, together they create a single narrative about transformation, tension, corporeality, and the vitality of life.

A recurring theme in my work is corporeality—not the body as form alone, but as a vessel of memory, emotion, and lived experience. I am interested in the marks left by invisible forces: pressure, deformation, fragility, and resistance. In ceramics and glass, I translate these tensions into material form; in painting, I work with color as energy, intensity, and affirmation of life.

Across all three media, I build a cohesive narrative about transformation and the lasting imprint of lived experience.
