In a world dominated by the automobile, we are conditioned to value what binds us to it. Sometimes this object is priceless, but what would happen if a wave took it to the bottom of the sea? In his work as a painter Marcello Petisci criticizes the value we give to this object without denying the aestheticism it represents.
This series of submerged cars is shown as an aquatic spectacle and coldly depicts the desolation of our modern societies in blue tones that go well with our cold carelessness.
