I live in Dolo, a charming town near Venice, surrounded by the landscapes, light, and timeless beauty of the Venetian region that have inspired generations of artists.
My passion for art and music began in childhood and has accompanied me throughout my life. Driven by curiosity and a deep love for creativity, I taught myself to paint while also dedicating myself to music, learning to play the accordion and the piano.
Through oil on canvas, I seek to capture the atmosphere of places, the play of light and shadow, and those fleeting moments that transform an ordinary scene into something unforgettable.
Living close to Venice has profoundly shaped my artistic vision. The city's canals, architecture, reflections, and unique relationship between water and light continue to be an endless source of inspiration. Each painting is a personal journey, an attempt to preserve not only what the eye sees, but also the emotions and sensations that a place awakens within us.
For me, art is a dialogue between passion and imagination, between observation and feeling. Every brushstroke tells a story, and every painting is an invitation to experience the beauty of the world through a different perspective.
After graduating in Psychology and pursuing studies in Philosophy, I deepened my artistic journey through the study of the techniques and traditions of Renaissance painting. Driven by a desire to understand the masters from within, I dedicated myself to the practice of copying and studying the works of great painters, including Leonardo da Vinci, Caravaggio, and the Flemish masters of still life and realism.
Through this disciplined exploration, I studied the methods, composition, use of light, and attention to detail that characterize the works of artists such as Rachel Ruysch, Abraham Mignon, Jan Davidsz de Heem, Jan van Huysum, and Jan van Eyck. These studies became an essential foundation for developing my own artistic language and deepening my appreciation for the timeless dialogue between technique and emotion. Currently I'm working on the copy of some panels of the "Mystic Lamb" by Jan van Eyck.
