Marco Cannone

CURRICULUM VITÆ

Marco Cannone was born in Milan in 1977 and lives near Rome.
He studied the pianoforte under his father’s guidance.
For several years he played background music on occasion of international painting exhibitions.
In 1994 he started working as a professional pianist at numerous luxury hotels in Switzerland and France.
He felt a very strong desire to express himself through art since childhood, when he spent whole hours drawing.
The same desire drove him, in adulthood, to combine his profession as a pianist with other forms of artistic expression.
He is currently measuring himself with the techniques of sculpture, drawing, photography and video.
In April 2007 he won the third round of the first Showdown, the Saatchi Gallery on-line competition, with his artwork Profondo.
