Born in Bedford, UK, frequented Luton College of Art and technology, I am now living and painting in northern Italy.
I am passionate about creating and interpreting feelings and nature in various art forms.
Although I have a background in fashion design and clothing technology: I worked for several years in the fashion industry in London, designing initially for a famous leisurewear company of the day, Inega Jeans, and later for another fashion manufacturer, distributing casual wear both in the UK and abroad.
I also worked along the way in the costume department of two films, during college years, one based in what was then the London Ealing Studios, where I worked on the beautiful historic costumes for the film Barry Lyndon, and a few years later, I worked in the costume department on the set of Revolution (starring Al Pacino and Nastassja Kinski).
I am deeply committed to protecting our planet and always strive to use natural products whenever possible. My studio is free of turpentine and other harmful chemicals. To dilute oil paints, I only use natural oils—linseed, walnut, poppy etc.. I also avoid any toxic chemicals, even when I work with resin I use only so called "natural resins", that have no odor. 2023 - two day group exhibition "Donna in Luce" in Rome at the Pio Sodalizio Dei Piceni.
