Mariah Nikolic

I am a multidisciplinary artist with over 15 years of experience in the visual arts. My work has been featured in over 40 local and international exhibitions, including notable venues such as the largest billboard in Times Square, Art in Space gallery in Dubai, and Mad Arts Space in Florida.

In my artistic practice, I address topics such as war, cultural trauma, power dynamics, and their reflection in the intimate micro-narratives of everyday life. Inspired by the history of Eastern Europe and the context in which I was raised, I draw from my experiences and dreams to reveal the complexities of transgenerational trauma through images that provoke thought and subvert the reality.
