Mariana is a Brazilian visual artist and former psychoanalyst whose work explores the subtle landscapes of emotion, memory, and the unconscious. With a formal background in psychology from UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), her transition into art emerged through a self-taught, intuitive practice that combines sensitivity, symbolism, and texture.
Her paintings often depict female figures in states of introspection, liberation, or transformation. Using oil on canvas and mixed techniques, Mariana creates pieces that evoke silence, vulnerability, and strength—inviting viewers into intimate psychological spaces.
Influenced by psychoanalysis, nature, and Brazilian culture, Mariana’s work bridges internal experience and external form. Each piece is a unique expression of inner landscapes, offered with authenticity and emotional depth.
