Art, for me, is both a contemplative practice and a means of interpreting the complexities of the world around me. While creativity has always been an intrinsic part of who I am, my formal artistic journey began over 10 years ago when I joined a local art class. Since then, I have dedicated myself to developing a disciplined yet exploratory approach to my work.
I consider my practice to be rooted in experimentation, allowing materials and subject matter to inform one another organically. I primarily work with gouache, watercolour, ink, and graphic markers, drawn to their versatility and capacity for both precision and spontaneity. Each medium offers a distinct visual language, enabling me to explore depth, contrast, and texture in nuanced ways.
I am continually inspired by the unexpected beauty found in everyday life. Colour, form, architecture, natural environments, and human presence all inform my visual narrative. Much of my work is shaped by lived experience and the emotional spectrum that defines the human condition. Through observation and reflection, I seek to translate fleeting moments and subtle details into compositions that invite viewers to pause, consider, and connect.
