Mariia Shelkovaia

Mariia Shelkovaia(formerly working under the name Marika Jam) is a New Zealand–based artist working in portrait and abstract painting. She received classical art training and studied visual arts for seven years, with a strong foundation in traditional techniques and art history.

She held a museum-invited solo exhibition titled Changes Are Inevitable at the V. P. Sukachev Estate Museum (Irkutsk, Russia) and participated in the nationwide Night of Museums program. She currently exhibits regularly in New Zealand.

Her works are held in private collections in New Zealand, Korea, and Russia.
