What I Do
I established with collages mysterious congruencies of visual experiences of personal and societal relevance. Even in my early works and today I continue to shape it. Recently I desire to expand the possibilities of collages transforming them into painting - landscape motifs, portraits, and elements of still life appear, all executed in a wide variety of painting techniques. Some elements are close-up of fragmentation or over-painting from Art-historical subjects. Sometimes I brought into synergetic interplay with craft traditions, techniques, decorative arts and furniture design.

Who I Am
I am a Brazilian artist and my aesthetic sensibility is mostly in compliance with Brazil and its citizens. Speculating continually the process of new media artists and scientific knowledge at the frontier painting medium, I am always attempting to emulate almost irreproducible technical results with reproducible technical ones. Proposing a critical vision, my work involves questioning political inquiries, man's relationship with the environment, history and society.
