About Marko Humphrey-Lahti

I am a professional sculptor primarily carving sculptures in stone and also producing limited edition sculptures cast in Bronze, Aluminium and composite metal and stone resins.
I was an elected member of the National Society from 2003-2006 and made an Honorary Member of the Fine Art Association, Gibraltar in 2006. I was elected a Member of the Royal Society of Sculptors in 2009.

Education

I studied Business Law at the Moorgate School of Business Studies (Guildhall University), City of London and studied sculpting techniques at the University of Hertfordshire.
I was awarded the 2016 Brian Mercer marble carving residency in Pietrsanta, Italy through the Royal Society of Sculptors and the Brian Mercer Charitable Trust.

Exhibitions

I exhibit with commercial galleries and in group shows both in the UK and abroad. My sculptures have been selected and shown by the Royal Society of Sculptors, the Royal Society of British Artists and The National Society for their Annual London exhibitions on many occasions.
My sculptures have been shortlisted for exhibition at the Royal Academy, and we’re preselected for the Threadneedle Art Prize, London 2014.
My sculptures have also been selected for exhibitions in Germany, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Italy and New York.
My sculptures can be found in both private and public collections across the UK and in Europe, Australia, China, Malaysia and USA.
