About Marlene Llanes

I recently joined Saatchi Art and I am very excited to be part of this art community! I am an artist, illustrator and graphic designer. My main medium is oil paint on canvas, but I also work with other materials such as pencil, watercolor, acrylic, etc, and obviously digital. I have a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design and a Masters degree in Fine Arts and Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. I am very fortunate to dedicate most of my creative time to produce oil paintings which I have shown in several galleries in Texas, Louisiana, and Mexico. In 2012 I was invited to Valloria, Italy, to paint one of their doors as part of their outdoor museum. I have also participated in numerous festivals in Houston and Austin. Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Vasco de Quiroga

Exhibitions:

My most recent solo exhibit took place at the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center, in Austin, TX, from April 13 to June 17, 2017. I have also shown in several galleries in Texas, Louisiana, and Mexico. In 2012 I was invited to Valloria, Italy, to paint one of their doors as part of their outdoor museum. I have also participated in numerous festivals in Houston and Austin.
