Iztok Maroh

1976 born in Maribor, Slovenia
1997-2000 studied at the University of Art and Industrial Design Linz, Austria, department of Sculptural Conceptions/ceramics. He graduated in year 2000 and entered the master's program contemporary ceramic and sculptural conceptions at the same University. In year 2003 he successfully completed his study. He trained his education at Plastic Arts department/Ceramic at Pusan National University, South Korea and in Nove, Italy. Between 2011 and 1023 he lived and worked in Itanbul.
He writes texts for professional and scientific publications and catalogs. He organized and curated numerous exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad. He speaks Slovenian, German (fluently), English (fluently) Croatian/Serbian/Bosnian (fluently)
He lives and works in Maribor.


Academic career and work experiences

In year 2000 he become assistant on Ceramic and Sculpture Department at Famul Stuart School of applied Arts, Ljubljana (University of Nova Gorica . In year 2004 he become a lecturer and head of Ceramic study and keep this position until academic year 2011/12.
