Marta Luiza Burdzy

Marta Luiza Burdzy born December 1st 1991 in Wroclaw, Poland. I've lived in Poland, Canada, Paris, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and in 2015 I moved to Tokyo, where I consecrated myself to developing my unique style of painting while engaging in a rich social life between Tokyo, Paris and Hong Kong.

In Canada I took my first steps in art education in the atelier of artist Sadko Hadzihasanovic, where I mainly worked in watercolor and pastels. After returning to Poland I continued my education working in oil techniques. After graduating from Wroclaw University and Université Paris 8, I moved to Hong Kong and studied traditional Chinese ink painting at Shenzhen University. In Tokyo I continuously worked in oil, acrylic, mixed media, watercolor, ink and Japanese pigment. I've developed a unique style influenced by my Western and Far East experiences. My themes are fueled by my emotional sensitivity - art is my best tool to express myself.
