Martin Jessup

I am a very versatile modern artist. Countless clients have commissioned me
over the years, for such artworks as diverse as portraiture, cartoons, storyboards
and murals. My work is not only hung in London and around the UK but also Spain,
Italy, France and Austria.
I can use most traditional media, Oils, Acrylic, Watercolour, Pastals, Charcoal and Ink
I am also proficient in computer art too ( packages I use are Photoshop, Illustrator & Quark).
I manage to work in both commercial art, advertising, branding, Saatchi & Saatchi, BBC,
Ogilvey to name just a few of my past clients, as well as traditional Fine art commissions too.

My greatest influence and inspiration is the artist Chuck Close, whom I have been lucky to meet on several occasions. I also had the good fortune to meet Sarah Raphael before she passed away.Charlie Mackesy inspires me(charcoal drawings),Kurt Jacksons blood and guts style used in hes beautiful seascapes,as for the past masters- Degas,Klimt,Mondrian and Pollock to name but 4, there are countless others!

I completed my Foundation course at Camberwell College of Art, and completed my BA at SIAD (Surrey Institute of Art & Design)in '94,
