Martin Lewton

Martin is an award winning queer live artist, now based in Sitges, Barcelona whose work has been seen internationally. In the last ten years this work has primarily centred on LGBTQI+ identity and the naked male body. His set of photographic artworks entitled Queer Bodies are of the artist’s body and accompany his live show of the same name. These images all originate in live performance and have been carefully chosen to encapsulate the artist’s feelings about his own body in relation to other queer bodies.

In addition to his work as a live artist Martin lectures at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona and is an Associate Research Fellow at Birkbeck University of London
