Maryna Suprun is a contemporary artist based in Vancouver, Canada, known for luminous floral and landscape paintings that celebrate the beauty, movement, and emotional power of nature.
Working primarily in oil and watercolor, Maryna explores light, color, atmosphere, and memory, transforming gardens, flowers, and landscapes into expressive and immersive paintings. Her work moves beyond botanical representation, capturing the fleeting feeling of a particular place or moment—the warmth of sunlight through petals, the quiet of a garden, or the atmosphere of a landscape remembered.
Flowers, particularly irises and peonies, are recurring subjects in her practice. Inspired by the gardens of the Pacific Northwest and her lifelong appreciation of Impressionist painting, Maryna combines a classical foundation with an expressive contemporary approach. Her paintings are characterized by luminous color, fluid brushwork, and a sense of movement and depth.
Originally from Ukraine, Maryna now works and lives in Vancouver, where the natural beauty and changing light of the West Coast continue to shape her artistic practice. Her works are held in private collections internationally and have been exhibited in Canada and Europe.
