Marzena Bugala

In my artistic practice, I combine printmaking, painting, and public art. I am fascinated by the dialogue between the structured, precise world of printmaking matrices and the fluid, expressive freedom of paint. In my works, I explore form, structure, and texture, bridging traditional craftsmanship with a modern artistic sensibility.

I have been developing my artistic skills for years through intensive, hands-on practice in professional printmaking and painting master-workshops. I regularly participate in specialized art courses.
Public Art: I am the creator of a large-scale, site-specific municipal mural on a viaduct pillar in Kutno. I participated in this project to enhance the city's aesthetics by realizing an individual artistic vision integrated into the existing public space.
Plein-Air Initiatives: I regularly participate in painting plein-air events and post-plein-air exhibitions, including the unique Train for Painting project at the Station Museum in Warsaw and at the Palace in Chrzęsne.

International Recognition: My works were selected by a professional, international jury for the prestigious 19th International Exhibition of Small Graphic Forms and Ex-libris in Ostrów Wielkopolski and the 4th "In vino veritas" International Competition.
Solo & Group Shows: I have presented my work in a solo exhibition titled Views from the Matrix and in numerous curated group exhibitions dedicated to contemporary printmaking and painting, which bring together artists from diverse artistic backgrounds.
