Mate Takacs

I am a figurative painter, I combine the world of surrealism, grotesque, art brut with realism. I create an art program that continously results from and builds upon itself.

Attila Ménes described Máté Takács as:
"The painting of Máté Takács is uncommonly sensitive and emotional, but not the least sentimental. He knows much about suffering, the living creature - no matter if it’s a human or an animal - can equally suffer from the lack of freedom, from vulnerability, from the actual state of the world.
