Matheson Beaumont

Born in Dunedin December 3rd 1926. Officer of the NZ Order of Merit. Hon. Fellow of the Photographic Society of New Zealand, a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain, was made a Fellow of The Photographic Society of America in 1974. In 1994 awarded the Royal Photographic Societys Fenton Medal. I am a printmaker with an interest in the Landscape of Southern New Zealand

Retired Optometrist. For over forty years, successfully combined that profession with a passion for photography.Exhibitions include, The NZ Academy of Fine Arts, The Otago Museum, The Aigantighe Art Gallery, The Forrester Gallery, The Marshall Seifert Gallery . Pictures are held in public collections in the UK, USA, Brazil, Singapore and Te Papa Tongarewa. (The Museum of NZ).,
