Matteo Calconi

Graphic designer and screen printer in the clothing and advertising field for over twenty years, I started creating paintings starting from the idea of recycling waste materials from screen printing, together with pieces of fabric and other unused materials.
I colored and filled the canvas randomly, then, influenced by Pop-Art and various contemporary artists, I began to add and apply all the techniques that I have acquired over the years with my work. Thus screen printing, spatula work, stencils, spray, painting and the idea of recycling come together to give life to the GRAPHIC ARTS project.
