Have you ever felt a sense of devastating desperation, felt that Nature's heartbeat is slowly failing? That the Earth, is loosing the energy which propelles its rotation, and is now only turning due to inertia?
Sometimes, when faced with human misery and its absurd greed, with the narrow minded inability to penetrate the thick surface of Events, the only thing we can grasp at is a sense of solitude and sadness. These are the times when to paint means to "stop crying", when a feeling of spirit and pride springs from our chest, and becomes a subtle happiness and silent laughter that can be heard only someone who knows how to listen to it.
