The VivoEquidem Gallery was created in 2005 as a space of artistic exchanges on a European scale. Through an eponymous organisation, it primarily focuses on introducing and promoting emerging artists from France and other European countries, such as Germany, the United Kingdom, Greece, Italy and Switzerland.

The gallery mainly features contemporary painting but its activity can embrace artists who work in other media, including space and volume, photography and video.

The idea is not to promote painting in the narrow sense of the term but to introduce the public and institutions to works by artists who hail from a very wide range of backgrounds but have one thing in common: the sensitivity and relevance required to reveal contemporary society's essential values.
