Using my fine art photography, I am a multi-media conceptual artist. My work covers a wide range of themes and visual concepts. I especially like to collaborate with clients, art consultants, designers and architects to create custom site specific work including large digital murals.Currently working on an iconic American flag series -- a visual interpretations of culture. Ongoing work includes multi-media documentary -- Global People of Influence -- featuring people from all walks of life.
Master of fine arts degree in photography and a masters degree in graphic arts from the University of Iowa. Studied printmaking under celebrated artists Mauricio Lasansky, multi-media with Hans Breder and photography under Peter Feldstein and John Schulz. Also participated in a special summer program with Ansel Adams. While in graduate school, developed an interest in computer graphics technology through work as a computer imaging technician under prominent scientist James Van Allen, PhD, then chairman of the department of physics and astronomy. BFA in printing, graphics and painting from the Miami University, Ohio. Worked with visiting artist Douglas Hubler, Jim Dine and fellow student Roger Welch.,
