Mehak Fatima

Hi! I am Mehak Fatima, an emerging artist based in Karachi, Pakistan and also a Biomedical Engineer. An unusual combination, isn't it?
Although I earned an engineering degree, art has always been a constant in my life. Rather than letting this passion to be buried beneath a path of conformity, I chose to pursue it.
I primarily work with oils, while also working with acrylics and other traditional mediums. As I am in the beginning of developing my artistic voice, I love to work with a variety of subjects; from the quiet beauty of still life and landscapes to story telling pieces.
I hope my work invites the viewers to pause, reflect and appreciate the beauty that art offers. I also hope that my journey serves as a reminder that it is never too late to pursue the dreams that truly resonate with you, even when they don't align with conventional expectations.
