Argentine visual artist whose practice explores landscape and territory as spaces of experience, contemplation, and reflection. She works primarily with experimental photography and digital processes, approaching the image as both a sensitive and conceptual device.
Her work is grounded in situated practices and in a direct relationship with natural environments. Through journeys, observation, and experiences within the territory, she investigates the symbolic dimension of landscape and the relationship between image, energy, and perception. In these processes, photography functions as a tool for attentive listening and sensitive recording, where the visible enters into dialogue with the intangible.
Her practice exists at the intersection of contemporary art, nature, and inner exploration, proposing images that invite viewers to pause, observe, and reconnect with perception.
Her work has been presented in museums, galleries, and contemporary art fairs, developing a practice oriented toward process-based creation, site-related exploration, and institutional exchange.
Melanie Dealbera studied visual arts and photography in Villa María, Argentina. She holds a Higher Technical Degree in Visual Arts with a specialization in printmaking from the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes Emiliano Gómez Clara, and a Technical Degree in Digital Photography from F5 Escuela de Imagen y Comunicación, both obtained with honors.
She continued her education through artistic research programs, residencies, and specialized workshops. She participated as a fellow in the Escuchar la Fotografía residency at Arte x Arte – Fundación Alfonso y Luz Castillo (Buenos Aires) and in Taller Compartido II at Crudo Arte Contemporáneo (Rosario), experiences focused on production, collective analysis, and the development of contemporary art projects.
Her work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions in museums, galleries, and cultural spaces, including the Museo Municipal de Bellas Artes Fernando Bonfiglioli, Usina Cultural UNVM, Galería Azulay, Crudo Arte Contemporáneo, and the Museo Municipal de Bellas Artes Fernando Bonfiglioli in collaboration with the Palais de Glace, among others.
