Melody Bean

I'm a self-taught, self expressing abstract artist. I'm also a published poet. I was born and raised in Ohio. Life is my inspiration. I believe each one of us has a gift. I discovered my gift in the maturity of my life, (later than sooner). I connect with each of my paintings, my heart and soul relates to each one. I began to express this connection on canvas. It truly get satisfaction when I complete one of my paintings, it gives me a completeness. Abstracts are my passion. I like to experiment with different genre's, styles and materials.

Living life in the good times and the not so good times are the best hands on teacher, I say, "Art is living-life in motion". My work is to inspire, it's an expression of my creativity. My goal is to relate to the viewer.

My paintings are signed, certificate of authenticity provided. A dove in my paintings are my signature mark. The dove represents peace.
