My name is Vladislav Metyolkin and I am a professional artist. I am 55 now, and the last 26 years of my life I dedicated to painting.

I specialize mostly in landscapes and still life. I truly love my homeland – Ukraine. I adore the beautiful nature of my motherland – its boundless fields and meadows, dense forests, picturesque rivers and numerous lakes. They are the main source of my inspiration.

Staying in nature, or even mental connection with it, fills me with a desire to express my experiences on canvas. In addition, it causes my soul to have a rather indescribable sense of harmony and tranquility. This whole range of lofty feelings, this positive energy, - all finds reflection in my paintings.

Many reputable people say my paintings possess favorable aura, and, you know, I am inclined to believe them! Therefore, I advise you to check the positive effects of my paintings personally. I truly believe they will enrich you with a particle of my soul's warmth, which I put into each one of my works!

The Institute of Arts at K. D. Ushynsky South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University (from 1983 till 1988).

1991 – Vladislav appointed as an art director of artist association "Creativity" in Odessa.
1994 – His first solo exhibition takes place in the Odessa Museum of Regional History.
1999 – Exhibition of artworks in National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (Kyiv).
2000 – Participation in the art exhibitions "Kiev Spring-2000" (Kyiv); "Our Home – Odessa" (Odessa); art project "Spring" (Kyiv).
2001 – Participation in the art exhibitions "Euroimage – 2001" (Kyiv); "Art Bridge Project" (Odessa); "Odessa Art Panorama" (Odessa); "MMM" – "Metyolkin-Melnikov-Mikhailov" (Odessa); "Fifth International Festival" (Odessa).
2002 – Participation in the art exhibition "Poetry of colors" in Ukrainian Cultural Foundation (Kyiv).
2006 – Vladislav presents his paintings to the collection of Zaporizhia Regional Art Museum.
2007 – Participation in the art project "Blessing" (Russian House of Science and Culture in Berlin, Germany); art-festival "Blessing" (Germany, Magdeburg).
2007 – Vladislav's solo exhibition takes place in the museum "Spiritual Treasures of Ukraine" (Kyiv).
