Michael Diaz

Born May 28, 1970 in Mexico city D.F. from Cuban born parents Luis and Lucy Diaz. Raised in Miami, Florida, where I currently reside. I've always had an inclination for the Arts, specially painting. I am drawn to different styles of art, but I always find myself attracted to figurative art as a form of expression. Though most of my work is realist, it is important for me to remain painterly while capturing the spirit.

Elite Fine Arts Design School in Miami.
Studied drawing, painting, design and computer art in Tallahassee Community College.
1995 began extensive training in The Fine Arts with renowned Miami based artist Mr. Emilio Falero.
Fine Arts studies with Mr. Falero as my mentor is the core development of my formation in Art.
Traveling to different major museums in New York, Washington, Baltimore and visiting South American and European countries such as art rich Spain, France, Italy , Germany and Argentina, has been a great influence. Studying the masters from all different time periods in person, contributes both consciously and subconsciously in my art.
