I grew up with photography as my father worked as a reporter/photographer in the late 1940s to the early 1950s, before he became involved in the aerospace industry. Through him I became fascinated with the magic of photography.
I began to take photo classes in college and later attended Art Center College of Design, graduating in 1976.
I had a small studio on Sunset Blvd through the late 1980s then did a trip to Thailand and decided to move there in 1990.
Over the years I have worked for Habitat for Humanity, World Vision, and done assignments for The United Nations, Newsweek, Gamma Liaison, Getty Images. Animal Planet, Homeless International and other organizations in Asia.
