Mike Rutherford

I am based in Melbourne, Australia. A former advertising photographer ,I have a reawakening of inspiration to do my own photography, this time mainly landscapes - largely using manipulation to create art more than documentation. I currently have a solo exhibition (Still Scapes) opening in Trentham, Victoria until end of March 2020. Then exhibitions planned for Delhi and Mumbai ,where I also photograph, in 2020 and 2021.
Originally trained and used all forms of analogue cameras and film.From 10x8,120,35mm,studio and location.Have been working since the mid 80's.
My work is mainly in Black and White but colour also ,depending on what I think will work for the picture.Most prints are either A2 or A3 size,always printed archively on the best cotton rag paper.
