Miki Karni is a self-taught fine artist working primarily in oil on canvas and natural stone. His work draws inspiration from Mediterranean light, the Sea of Galilee, Jerusalem, ancient olive trees, boats, and weathered architecture.
His paintings have been shown in national and international galleries and are included in private, public, and corporate collections.
Many of his works are named after musical pieces whose mood, rhythm, or colors echo the atmosphere of the painting.
“When I see the music, I hear colors. When I listen to the music, I imagine shapes and colors. When I paint, my heart fills with music.”
Self-taught artist. Developed his technique through decades of independent study, observation, experimentation, and professional practice, specializing in realistic and photorealistic oil painting on canvas and natural stone.
1995–2020 — Participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Israel and internationally, presenting original oil paintings on canvas and natural stone.
