Milan Krajnovic

The artist’s practice is grounded in abstraction as a process of constructing new visual realities. Emerging from an initial focus on inner expression, the work has developed into a dynamic interplay between internal states and external stimuli. Subtle traces of neglect and decay, understood as existential marks serve as points of departure, which are transformed into compositions imbued with emotional and poetic resonance.
Working primarily in linocut, the artist treats the medium as integral to their thinking, where image and process evolve simultaneously. Recurrent forms shift in meaning across works, allowing for the articulation of layered and complex emotional states. Through a sensitive orchestration of form, texture, and tone, the work invites an intuitive and affective engagement from the viewer.

Graduated and postgraduated from the Printmaking Department of the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka.
