Mima Petrovic-Cincar

Mima Petrovic-Cincar lives and works in Belgrade, Serbia. Economist and former JAT Airways stewardess, discovered her passion towards naive art in 2000. She has also worked as a gallery director from 2009 to 2012.

From artist's perspective:
"I have always observed Banat villages only from great heights, and I have always admired their improbable peace and simplicity. And then, I had the biggest blessing to see them from the ground. My impression became even stronger, from that moment. So strong, that I've put my love into warm and pure colors of naive art, I so genuinely, with child's heart, wanted.
That's the secret of naive art."
