Born in Saigon and raised in Paris by a Greek-French-Vietnamese father and a Vietnamese mother, Mimi Zaphiratos’ creativity stems from her diverse multicultural background French, Vietnamese, and Greek. As an artist, her dynamic work explores universal themes such as life, loss, reconciliation and love as well as the ecosystem, the biodiversity, and her love for animals and nature. Her many mediums of work include oil paint on canvas, fiber glass, wood, cardboard, linen, fabrics, painted porcelain tea sets, public artwork, painted leather apparel, painted furniture, and much more. Mimi continues to create while exploring new themes and mediums for creativity.
