Mikhail Makarov

Mikhail Makarov was born in Moscow, Russia. His first and the most important art teacher was his father Nikolay, who was an artist-restorer. Nikolay was restoring icons in a St. Danilov Monastery in Moscow, where later he became a deacon. Icons inspired Nikolay to become a Christian and he shared this passion with Mikhail.
