Mo El Kadey
Mo El Kadey is an Egyptian-British contemporary artist based in London and the founder of The Street Gallery.
His practice, which he calls Primitive Surrealism, combines bold colour, symbolic figures and instinctive mark-making to explore heritage, memory, identity and the psychology of everyday life. Every painting begins with a story, transforming personal experience into vivid, emotionally honest works.
