Mo Mot

I am constantly on the lookout for forms and shapes to express multifaceted and unexplored world - human's emotional inner world impacted by contemporary social problems. I experiment with non-traditional media such as painted people combined with wood, glowing neon light materials, and 3D constructions. Oscillating between figurative and abstract forms, my works include characteristic motifs of fragmented, deformed body parts through which as well as possible she expresses humans' inner world with their emotions, conflicts, path finding and internal development, fears and joys.
Today, my portfolio comprises a number of large-format paintings, 3D installations, performances, drawings, book designs and illustrations. Since 2013 I have worked under my artistic nickname - Mo Mot.

Mo Mot studied at the State Art Academy of Visual Arts, Kharkiv, Ukraine. In 2014, after her bachelorin Graphic Design and second bachelorin Accounting & AuditingI at O. М. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkov, Mo moved to Germany for a master degree of the Trier University of Applied Sciences, focus on communication design.
Today, Mo's portfolio comprises a wide range. Large-format paintings, Installations, perfomances, drawings, book designs and illustrations.
Mo Mot has won more than 20 awards in various international art competitions and festivals. Her work is internationally recognized. It was presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad.
