Monika Misiak

Monika Misiak-Kołsut is a Warsaw-based digital artist who works in the genres of surrealism and magical realism. She creates multi-layered visual narratives in which the laws of nature are distorted and illusions take on tangible forms. Her work, characterized by bold, vibrant colors, is a constant exploration of dreams, memory, and the hidden layers of human emotion.
Her work draws deeply on symbolism—each painting is a visual story built on raw beauty, intense emotions, and the quiet strangeness of human experience. Thanks to her refined painting technique, she creates striking compositions that evoke contrasting impressions, challenging the viewer while carrying the weight, depth, and rich texture traditionally associated with classical media.
Her work has gained wide recognition on the Polish art and illustration scene.
