I’m Moni Vems, a self-taught artist creating ultra-realistic 3D paintings that are 100% handcrafted and sustainably made. My work brings real-world locations to life on canvas, not just to be seen, but to be felt.

Each piece is inspired by nature, travel, and personal memory. I recreate landscapes that help people reconnect with places they’ve loved or immerse themselves in a world they’ve always dreamed of. With texture, depth, and sculptural detail, my art offers more than what 2D can. You can touch it, feel it, and step into the moment.

Though I’m professionally trained as an engineer with dual master’s degrees in business, art has been my first love since childhood. I was lucky to train with some of Asia’s top artists at a young age and spent my early years exploring texture, form, and color, winning awards and exhibiting in galleries across India. That foundation shaped who I am today.

I work with sustainable materials like recycled paper pulp, cardboard, wood, dried flowers, and natural elements. My techniques include sculpting, shading, detailing, texturing, and miniature building. Each piece is built layer by layer with the goal of making you forget where you are, even if just for a moment.

I didn’t attend art school, but I’ve been immersed in art all my life. I’m an engineer and business postgrad by profession and an artist by heart, self-taught but deeply trained by incredible mentors from a young age. I’ve also attended workshops with some of Asia’s most celebrated artists, learning hands-on techniques that shaped my signature 3D style.

Group exhibitions across Toronto, Ontario. Featured in art galleries in Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, India. Participated in multiple curated shows and markets in Canada and USA.
