About Alan Gorodzinsky
Hey! A little about me: I'm was born under Taurus and raised in Mexico City, where I currently live. Some kids wanted video games, I remember asking my parents for paper. I've drawn and painted as long as I can remember . . . my hands always find their way to a pen, and anything can happen. I believe my art is a witness of my life, a physical record of my experiences, how I feel, or the things I dare not say. It's not meant to convey a specific meaning, but I would like to think it could move people into some sort of reflection about their own state. I work as a financial analyst for a design and real estate firm while studying my master's by night. On my (very scarce) free time I enjoy drawing with my fountain pens, swimming, and binge-watching Netflix. My passions are traveling, drinking coffee, my dogs, and airplanes. I've signed my work "Léon" for years . . . I guess that makes it my artistic name, although I don't care too much for the fancy term.
MBA (c), ITAM.
Master's in Art History (UIA).
Bachelor's in Architecture (WU).
I'm pretty much a library mouse . . . don't think I'll stop studying just yet.
I've exhibited my work in over 30 shows around the globe.
It's been showcased at the Mini Print Internacional de Cadaqués (Spain), Galerie l'ètang d'art (France), Wingfield Barns (UK), and the Lessedra Art Gallery (Bulgaria), to name a few.
Where's it going to be next?
