Julia Brinkfrau

Julia Brinkfrau is a Berlin-based contemporary artist known for bold abstract paintings and expressive modern portraits. Her work explores emotional energy, femininity, and chromatic tension through layered color fields, dynamic gestures, and intuitive mark-making.
Working primarily with acrylic, oil stick, and mixed media, Brinkfrau creates visually powerful originals that balance spontaneity with compositional control. Her abstract works emphasize movement, depth, and vibrant color resonance, while her figurative paintings focus on presence, identity, and inner strength.
