Reflecting on her time as a child growing up in the Gold Coast hinterland surrounded by wildlife and rainforest, the use of florals and creatures in her work is a way of preserving and sharing these memories.
Inspired by a mixture of mythology, folklore, surrealism, art deco and the old masters, her visual style combines these influences to create work that is dream like and playful.
