Mounir Tahoum

I draw inspiration from the abstract school, and my paintings are modern and contemporary, distinguished by a unique approach. They are based on the interplay of contrast, juxtaposing two different and opposing colors, such as black and white. I also combine bold, vibrant tones with duller shades, arranging them within geometric or fluid shapes intertwined with sharp lines, producing an effect that could be described as “creative dissonance.” Upon closer observation, this apparent discord gives rise to a sense of harmony.
