Dinesh Raghul

I am a traditional artist from India whose work is deeply inspired by anime, storytelling, and human emotion. Every artwork I create begins with a simple pencil sketch and slowly evolves through layers of line work, color, shading, and detail until it becomes a finished piece with its own personality.

I am fascinated by the way art can bring fictional characters and emotions to life on paper. Through my drawings, I aim to capture not only the appearance of a character but also the energy, memories, and feelings they represent.

Working entirely by hand allows me to build a personal connection with every piece. I enjoy experimenting with textures, bold outlines, expressive colors, and unique finishing techniques that give my artworks a distinctive visual identity.

For me, art is not just a hobby—it is a form of storytelling, self-expression, and a way of sharing the worlds and emotions that inspire me every day.

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) in my third year at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (SIST), India.

Alongside my engineering studies, I am a self-taught traditional artist with a strong passion for anime-inspired artwork and visual storytelling. While my academic background has helped me develop patience, discipline, and attention to detail, my artistic journey has been driven entirely by personal dedication, continuous practice, and a genuine love for creating art.

Over the years, I have independently developed my own techniques in sketching, outlining, coloring, and shading, creating artworks that reflect both creativity and individuality. Balancing engineering and art has allowed me to combine technical precision with artistic expression, shaping my unique approach as an artist.

Exhibitions

At present, I have not participated in any formal art exhibitions or gallery showcases. As a self-taught artist, I have focused on developing my artistic skills, building my portfolio, and refining my personal style through consistent practice and dedication.

I am currently working toward expanding my audience and look forward to exhibiting my artwork in galleries, art fairs, and creative events in the future.
