Tatiana Mienkina

I was born in Ukraine and it has been 16 years since I moved to Europe. For 10 years I was living i Poland, but now I am settled in Great Britain, London. My art journey has began years ago. In the student years a lot of works were created - in particularly watercolor and pastel paintings. Later I started to work more with acrylic paint and oil.

Today I create mostly abstract and realistic paintings, but the great impressionists and surrealists are my main inspirators.

The main theme of my works are thoughts, feelings and artist's perception of the world. I adore intensive colors and shapes, that should please and lead to reflection. My passion is nature life.

I am deeply convinced: a human is born to be happy and to share this happines with others.

In 1990 I was graduated from the Mirgorod State Art College named after N.V. Gogol. I was taught by members of the Union of Artists of Ukraine - A. Pestich, S. Mysak.

In 1998 I was also graduated from Kiev National Academy of Light Industry as a designer.

Nowadays my works are in private collections in Ukraine, Poland, Germany and England.
