I am an installation artist working between art and design, where nature becomes both material and concept. My practice explores the transformation of organic elements into contemporary artworks and spatial installations that engage with architecture, materiality, and sensory experience.

Working primarily with preserved moss and foliage and natural textures, I translate patterns found in nature into sculptural compositions. These works are not intended just as decorative objects, but as immersive environments and tactile surfaces that invite clow contemplation and physical presence.

My artistic language is deeply influenced by Brazilian Tropicalism and Neo-Concrete art. From Tropicalism, I draw a sensorial, lush, and emotional relationship with nature-where color, texture, and vitality resist rigidity and embrace cultural hybridity. From Neo-Concretism, I inherit an emphasis on experience, intuition, and the dissolution of boundaries between artwork, space, and viewer. These influences guide my interest in art as a living encounter rather than a fixed form.

Architectural and modernist references also shape my work, particularly the fluid lines of Oscar Niemeyer, the material restraint of brutalism, and contemporary approaches...

I hold a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Salamanca (Spain), with academic training focused on discourse analysis, structure, and meaning-making. While my formal education developed within language studies, this analytical foundation profoundly informs my artistic practice today.

Years of research, teaching, translation, and cross-cultural work between Brazil, Mexico, Spain and the US have shaped my sensitivity to rhythm, structure, and cultural context. Working across languages trained me to understand how meaning shifts through form, tone, and context -an approach I now translate into visual and material compositions.

My background in cultural research, education, and creative direction allows me to navigate seamlessly between conceptual art, installation practice, and design-oriented projects. This hybrid formation positions my work at the intersection of contemporary art, architecture, and sensory experience, where intellectual rigor and material intuition coexist.
