I'm Nadiia Forkosh, a Vienna-based artist, originally from Ukraine. For over a decade I've been making work that lives somewhere between feeling and form — paintings and digital pieces that begin with one inner impulse and grow into a whole world on the canvas or the screen.
Every work I make is an original. I paint in oil on canvas, and I also create original digital art and animation, often bringing the two together into mixed and "phygital" pieces. Whatever the medium, each artwork is one of a kind: created by hand, tied to a moment that happens only once, and never mass-produced or copied.
My work has been shown around the world — a solo exhibition at Arx Gallery in London, Miami Art Week, a group show at The Oculus in New York, and several exhibitions in Vienna, including a project supported by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Arts and Culture. I collaborate with musicians and galleries on new forms that connect painting with technology.
For me, a painting is a quiet conversation. It carries a story, a mood, a memory — and it keeps speaking long after it's finished.
