Nargol Arefi

Nargol Arefi is an Iranian painter based in Los Angeles. Her work blends emotional intensity with intuitive, expressive mark making, moving between abstraction and subtle narrative. Guided by instinct, rhythm, and layered texture, she creates paintings that feel raw, atmospheric, and deeply human. Her paintings have earned recognition from the Society of Illustrators in New York as well as The Illustrator’s Club of DC, MD & VA.
